Carnival Weekend

The weekend of May 19-22 Laingsburg had a carnival. The carnival comes once a year and it’s a pretty big deal here since not much usually happens. I went on May 19th with some friends, some people went every day.

This is the zipper. I think it is the scariest ride because you flip a lot and you’re in a small seat.

This is the shock drop. You go 50 feet up and then drop very fast.

This is an elephant ear. It is just fried dough with butter sugar and cinnamon and they’re really good.

The Voynich Manuscript is an illustrated codex (ancient list) hand written in an unknown language. The manuscript depicts many strange plants, zodiac symbols, healing chemicals, and much more. It was bought by a merchant in 1912, dating back to the 15th century. Only a few words have been depicted, as the rest remain unknown. The Voynich Manuscript still remains as one of the world’s greatest mysteries.

My house

My house is a 3 story white house with 3 rooms 3 bathrooms 2 living rooms a basement a kitchen and dining area. I live on woodbury rd. in a dirt road subdivision with a couple of neighbors.

This is my current home, It is a ranch Style raised, most everything is on the top floor, there are no shutters because we had to paint them. My house is across the road from a little lake known as Lake Victoria. It has boat access and a little beach. We are sadly moving away, we don’t know where yet, maybe somewhere in Laingsburg, but likely to Houghton lake.

This is my house. I live in a one story house with a basement that is right off of a busy road that runs through Laingsburg. The house has four bedrooms.  We moved to this house the August of 2014 from a small house in upstate New York.

Major League Baseball started in April. I’m a Tigers fan because live in the state of Michigan. The Tigers are the only Major league baseball team in Michigan. There are 30 different teams in Major League baseball.

This is my house. I live on the border of Laingsburg on a dirt road. There are a few other houses on my part of the road, and even some chickens. Everyone in my house has their own bedroom, and we have 4 bathrooms. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, one on the main level, and one bedroom in the basement, along with a living area, and soon to be bar.

Dance Recital  

On April  24th, there was a dance recital at waverly high school, in Michigan. The dance class i was in was jr. Musical Theatre. We had to dress up has old people and dance to the song, Good Golly Miss Molly. Here is a picture of me and my friends in our costumes. I am the one all the way to the left.

This is my house. I live in Laingsburg in the country. We have fields surrounding my house on three sides.

I live in a small neighborhood in the outskirts of Bath. The road is gravel and winds through a forest and marsh. The road continues and goes up a hill, where my house is. We live on 13 acres but are in the process of buying more land. Our backyard has an inground pool with a slide, an ice cream parlor, and a bar with a pizza oven. Out back we have paved paths to walk our dogs, ride our bikes, or to drive the Go Kart or Quad on.

This summer I will be playing lots of basketball. Also, I will be riding my bike with friends and family. My family also got a new puppy so we will walk him a lot too!

If it reaches over the $1.6 billion (1,462,723,440 Euros), it will become the highest money-making movie in the world, and it’s well on it’s way there.

LMS TRACK MEET

On Tuesday, May 9th the Middle School Track Team had a track meet in Potterville at 4:30. For field events there are; Pole Vault, Long Jump, High Jump, and Shotput. There are also many running events.

At the spring fling there is a different theme each year this year's theme was Cinco de Mayo. At the dance there was food and refreshments there were also appetizers, balloons, a dj, and a lot of drama. People danced and had a good time. I asked to play my favorite song, “I don’t dance” by Lee Brice.  Everybody danced to the song that I picked, and some of them even said that they loved it too. Too bad I won’t be here next year, as I will be in high school.

                   BASEBALL

Baseball has started this year and our first games is today because our other games have been cancelled. We are on the B team and there are 4 different team levels. I am on the highest team in my town. Our session is not that long but we still have fun.

              Dance Recital

In April there was a dance recital at the Waverly High School .There were many dances and all of them were great.  It started at 4 and ended at around 6 pm. Lots of people came and at the end they said thank you for coming and it was over.

Me (Kyle)- I’m going to Myrtle Beach and going on a couple of camping trips.

Matt- He’s going to Myrtle Beach with me and staying home and going on lots of bike rides.

Austin-He’s just going to chill out and drink Kool-Aid on his deck.

Cam-He’s going to Maine and the east coast to visit family and going to lots of golf courses.

Kadin- He’s going on lots of camping trips and hilling out.

Reece- He’s going to go to Cedar Point and playing in our school’s marching band.

Jack-He’s going to play lots of basketball and then play even more basketball.

On easter Sunday ( April 16th 2017) a man by the name Steve Stephens videotaped a murder. Which would be good in most cases, but the only problem was Steve Stephens was the murderer. Not that that wasn’t enough he posted the video of him murdering someone to facebook.  Steve said in the video “ she is the reason this is about to happen to you. “ He was talking about his girlfriend. He said the reason he killed the man was because he was mad at his girlfriend. The weird thing about this is one: Steve’s family said he had never been violent before and two: he picked this man at random as he was walking home from and easter Sunday meal. After authorities found the video on facebook  they had to find Steve. Steve was on the run for two days before he took his life after he was surrounded by the police. The only reason he was caught was because a McDonald’s employee recognized Steve and told him to wait for his friends in the parking lot as she called the cops. The picture above is Steve Stephens.
